Dr. Matthew Moore

Welcome to Pendleton High School, home of the Bulldogs. My name is Matt Moore, and it is my honor to serve as our principal. In my 17 years in public education, I have had the privilege of serving as a teacher or administrator in five schools in South Carolina and Texas. I have been at Pendleton High School for six years, five of which were spent as an Assistant Principal. I hold a B.A. in Secondary Education from Clemson University, an M.A. in School Leadership from Furman University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Law from Liberty University. My wife and I have three children: Jackson (15), Sullivan (12) and Isabelle (10). I look forward to seeing the great things we accomplish together as a school community in the future.
